Cobblers' EFL Trophy scheduled confirmed

Cobblers' EFL Trophy scheduled has been confirmed.

Town will start the competition by heading to MK Dons on Tuesday, September 8, ay 7.30pm, three days after their opening fixture against Cardiff City in round one of the Carabao Cup.

Southampton U23s are next up at the PTS Academy Stadium on Tuesday, October 6, again with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Cobblers' final match in Southern Group C comes at home to League Two Stevenage on Tuesday, November 10 (7.30pm). The top two sides from the group will qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.

The usual rules apply with all group games going to a penalty shoot-out if they end in a draw. The winners of the shoot-out will pick up an extra point.
