The Cobblers have confirmed the dates of two home pre-season games ahead of the start of the 2020/21 League One campaign next month.

Northampton will welcome League Two outfit Leyton Orient to the PTS Academy Stadium on Saturday, August 22 (1pm kick off).

Keith Curle's side will also play at home the following Saturday (August 29) at 3pm, with the opponents to be confirmed shortly.

The two fixtures will be played behind closed doors in accordance with current coronavirus protocols, but the club are looking in to the possibility of streaming both games for supporters to watch.

These details will be released in due course. The club could also play at least one away friendly but this has not yet been confirmed.
