A tight and tense first-half made way for a more open second as both sides missed chances to win it. Sam Hoskins and Will Hondermarck were denied by Tomas Holy before Lee Burge made an excellent double stop from Kristian Dennis. Town remain second in League Two. 5. Sam Hoskins
Ideally Brady wouldn't deploy his top scorer at wing-back but it's needs must at the moment and he rarely lets the side down. Didn't completely quell his attacking instincts either, forcing Holy into a smart stop with a sharp turn and shot after half-time. 6. Ryan Haynes
Perhaps goes under the radar compared to others but he's doing a good job for the team in the left wing-back role and arguably enjoyed his best game of the season here. Defended well and was decent enough on the ball, curling one just over on his wrong foot... 7.5 Photo: Pete Norton
7. Marc Leonard
Set the tone for Town's dogged display with a strong opening 20 minutes. He won interceptions and broke up play effectively and even had the confidence to have a pop from the halfway line with a decent effort. Some quick feet created a snapshot for Hoskins after the break... 7.5 Photo: Pete Norton
8. Will Hondermarck
The outstanding player on the pitch for an hour. Seemed to cover every blade of grass and won tackle after tackle, regularly halting Carlisle's progress and setting Cobblers away on the break. Fine run to find himself in a scoring position but his finish lacked conviction. Very good midfield performance though... 8 CHRON STAR MAN Photo: Pete Norton
