Brady's happy with what he's got - but Cobblers will keep an eye on free agent market

Jon Brady says he’s happy with the squad he has at his disposal but Cobblers will still have an eye on the free agent market following the end of the summer transfer window.

Twelve new faces joined Town in a busy summer and Brady himself recently described his current squad as the deepest he’s had during his time in charge of the club.

However, the free agent market is one that Brady and the Cobblers have delved into over recent seasons. Current centre-back Jordan Willis joined last October while Liam Moore and Dominic Gape also came in on free transfers later in the season, and only this week did Wycombe, Saturday’s opponents at Sixfields, make a move for Fred Onyedinma.

"Right now we feel we have what we need within the group,” said Brady. “You're always looking and you're always hoping but we feel we’ve got what we need at the moment.”
