1. Ross Fitzsimons
Unlucky when his save from Honeyman rebounded straight to Ashworth for a third-minute opener. Grateful for Guthrie's last-ditch defending when he was slow off his line before some late saves prevented an even heavier beating... 6 Photo: Pete Norton

2. Conor McCarthy
His first start of 2026 and he did OK. The team conceded twice but he was not at fault for either and made some good blocks and interceptions to keep the margin of defeat somewhat respectable... 6 Photo: Pete Norton

3. Jon Guthrie
Anticipated well to head off the line late in the first half but Taylor's error the other side of half-time meant it was in vain. Can't really be blamed for another disappointing defensive showing but the simple fact is Cobblers are conceding too many goals for a team that scores so few... 6 Photo: Pete Norton

4. Nesta Guinness-Walker
One of the better performers. His defensive work was clean and he contributed in possession, pushing high and wide and combining with Perkins and Swyer on the left, even if Town were out of ideas once they entered he final third... 6.5 Photo: Pete Norton
