Another new date announced for Town's trip to Blackpool

Cobblers will head back to Bloomfield Road for their Sky Bet League One fixture with Blackpool on Tuesday, February 2, at 7pm.

The match was originally scheduled to go ahead on January 9 but had to be postponed with Blackpool in FA Cup third-round action against West Brom.

They tried again yesterday, Tuesday, but again the game was called off, this time due to a waterlogged pitch just as Northampton's team bus arrived at the ground.

It will hopefully be third time lucky on February 2 when Cobblers will make their third consecutive Tuesday trip to the Fylde coast following next week's game at Fleetwood.

Any iFollow match passes purchased for the original match will automatically be valid for the re-arranged game.
