Andy Whing confirms key Brackley Town change ahead of Solihull Moors clash
Brackley Town’s players will meet together for an extra session this week as they seek to turn the tide following seven successive defeats.
New head coach Andy Whing is yet to pick up a single point and was ashamed of Saturday’s 4-1 thrashing from Woking, a result which left the Saints just two points above the National League relegation zone.

If Brackley don’t start picking up points soon, a return to the National League North will be on the cards. Given that’s certainly not an easy division to get back out of, the Saints will be desperate to avoid the drop.
Ahead of this Tuesday night’s clash with Solihull Moors at St James Park, Whing has decided to add some extra training to the schedule.
As Brackley are only a part-time club, they normally only train on Thursdays. But Whing is getting the lads in on Monday to get more instructions across before Solihull come to town.
“We'll be in on Monday evening because I haven't had enough time with the players,” Whing admitted to this newspaper.
“It might be my fault. I need to do more in terms of the training. I know we don't get time because we're part-time.
“I don't want to use it as an excuse, but it's been really tough to get things into players. I just think now it's the end of the season, we need as much time as we can.”
Every result recently has been crushing, but Saturday’s defeat to Woking was particularly painful as Brackley conceded all four goals within a crazy 11-minute spell during the second half.
“Usually, we go straight from Saturday to Tuesday again. I just don't think we can do that at the moment. I think we have to try and regroup,” added Whing.
“It's alright me pulling clips out, showing everything. I send the clips to them on WhatsApp and watch this and all that sort of stuff…
“Coming in on Monday, we usually wouldn't. But we need to try as much as we can to rectify that 11 minutes, really.
“It's strange to lose 4-1 and you've lost a game in 11 minutes. It's ridiculous. Unfortunately, that's where we are at the minute and we'll have to pick the bones out of it.”
