Northants to stage online forum tonight to answer supporters' questions

With the cricket season suspended until July 1 at the earliest, it has been a frustrating summer so far for everybody connected with the County - especially as the sun has barely stopped shining.

Thursday's online forum, which starts at 6pm, gives the main men at the club the chance to let the supporters know the latest news on what may or not be happening over the coming weeks or months, both on the playing and non-playing front.

Supporters were last weekend asked to submit their questions to the expert panel, which will include chairman Gavin Warren, head coach David Ripley and captains Adam Rossington and Josh Cobb, and they will be answered on Thursday.

Supporters who turne into the forum, will also get the opporunity to raise points and pose 'follow-up questions' on the night.

A club statement on nccc.co.uk read: "This is a chance to check in and catch up."

Join us for the club’s first online forum as our panel answer your questions on all things Northamptonshire CCC.

"The panel will consist of chairman Gavin Warren, chief executive Ray Payne, head coach David Ripley, chief medical officer Bill Ribbans, Championship captain Adam Rossington and Steelbacks captain Josh Cobb.

"The forum will be streamed live (on the club website at nccc.co.uk) from 6pm on Thursday, May 21, and will last around 45 minutes.

"You don’t need to register to attend, though you’ll need to use a YouTube account to post comments or ask follow-up questions in the comment section during the stream."
