Northampton boxers Cameron, James and Vaughan signed up for big night in Birmingham
A trio of Northampton boxers have been confirmed on the bill of a huge night of boxing in Birmingham next month.
And world champion Liam Davies, the headliner at the event at BP Pulse Live on November 2, also has strong links to the town.

The Northampton boxers taking to the ring are former undisputed world champion Chantelle Cameron, as well as Team Shoe-Box pair Eithan James and Ben Vaughan.
Added to that list can be Davies, who hails from Donnington in Shropshire, but trained under Arthur Daley and James Conway at Kings Heath ABC as a teenager, going on to represent the club as well.

The 28-year-old tops the bill on the Queensberry Promotions show in Birmingham as he defends his IBO World Super Bantamweight crown against fellow Brit Shabaz Masoud.
Indeed, it’s going to be a special night for Kings Heath, as Cameron, James and Vaughan also fought as amateurs for the North Oval club.
The BP Pulse Live venue was formerly know as the Resorts World Arena.
Cameron is second on the bill to Davies, fighting for the second time since she contentiously lost her crown as the undisputed world super lightweight champion to Ireland’s Katie Taylor in Dublin 11 months ago.

The 33-year-old returned to the ring in July and claimed the WBC Interim World super lightweight belt by seeing off Elhem Mekhaled at Resorts World, and she returns to the venue to defend that crown against Sweden’s Patricia Berghult.
She will be targeting a 20th win out of 21 fights as a pro.
‘Bomber’ Vaughan is third on the bill as he faces the biggest night of his career so far.
The 25-year-old takes on Nottingham’s Ekow Essuman for his WBO European Welterweight title.
It is going to be a major test for the Northampton fighter, who boasts a record of 10 wins out of 10 as a professional, but he is up against a 35-year-old who has won 20 out of 21 as a pro - with his only defeat coming to Harry Scarff in a British title fight 12 months ago.
Vaughan’s trainer at the Harlestone Road-based Team Shoe-Box gym, James Conway, said: “Ben will go in as a big underdog against world-ranked Eskow.
“Ben has been waiting for a chance at anything and anyone, and although it’s a tough opponent and a difficult task, he will be ready to take his opportunity.”
The final Northampton fighter on show is James, who is looking to bounce back from the first defeat of his professional career last time out.
James was stunned in Birmingham in March when he lost his European Welterweight title to Owen Cooper, the fighter being retired by his corner at the end of the ninth round.
It was a first defeat in 13 for 24-year-old James, but he has been handed a tough task on his ring return as he takes on southpaw Jermaine Osbourne-Edwards, who boasts a 100 per cent record after 11 professional fights.
The 35-year-old is certainly going to be a handful, but James’ trainer Conway said that is exactly what his fighter wanted.
“Eithan’s fight is an English title eliminator against an unbeaten opponent,” said the Shoe-Box head coach.
“There was an opportunity to come back to an easier fight, but it is hard for Eithan to motivate himself unless it is a challenge.”
