The Northampton fighter has stepped up to do battle with the Irish superstar in a history-making contest between the two undisputed world champions.
Cameron's four super-lightweight belts will be on the line at what is going to be a sold-out 3Arena, as world lightweight champion Taylor fights on home soil for the first time as a professional.

But the Puerto Rican had to pull out through injury, and after calling her rival out on social media, Taylor will now take on Cameron with Hearn admitting the town fighter will be a tougher test than Serrano would have been.
"Chantelle is bigger than Serrano, she is a very good fighter, she's very aggressive, she punches very hard, and I think it's a tougher fight (for Taylor)," Hearn told the iFl TV YouTube channel.
"They are both amazing fighters, and how good is it to get to see it.

"It is history-making as well, because it will be the first time two reigning undisputed champions will have fought each other in the history of the sport. So fair play to them."
Cameron has always made it clear she has wanted to take on Taylor, and admitted this week that it is 'surreal' that the contest is at long last going to happen.
At 31, the Northampton ace is five years Taylor's junior, although she has only contested five fewer professional fights than the Irish legend, with Taylor having won 22 out of 22, and Cameron 17 out of 17.

"Chantelle has been a threat for the past three years," said the Matchroom boss.
"I think Katie Taylor is still in her prime, people said she is declining, and then she puts in a performance like she did against Serrano.
"I think Chantelle is in her prime as well, and she is dangerous.

When Serrano pulled out of the May 20 date, Hearn initially was talking about a postponement, but it was Taylor who forced his hand into setting up the showdown with her Matchroom stable-mate.
Taylor took to Instagram to say she wanted to fight Cameron in Dublin, and the town star immediately agreed - and the wheels were set in motion.
"Making the fight wasn't hard work, because when two fighters want to fight, generally you get it done," said Hearn.

"Sometimes I would see her looking at me as if to say 'I'm not sure I believe you', but I know what Katie is about, and I know what Chantelle is about, and Katie called it out on social media
"Chantelle has been calling Katie out for years, but Katie said 'I want my homecoming, May 20 at the 3Arena in Ireland', and it is going be one of the most epic fight atmospheres you'll have ever seen.
"These two will go to war, they are two absolutely unbelievable fighters and it is undisputed versus undisputed, and Chantelle is there to win the fight."
