The pair were due to compete as part of the Matchroom Boxing show at the Doncaster Dome on April 24, which was being headlined by Natasha Jonas's world super-featherweight title fight against Terri Harper.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic, promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that the show will be rescheduled for June, with a date to be confirmed.

Conway was due to be fighting former English champion Navid Mansouri, while Cameron's opponent was still to be confirmed.

Speaking on matchroomboxing.com, Eddie Hearn said: "We have seen over the past week or so a huge disruption to the global sporting calendar, and of course that is filtering through now to live boxing events.

"After further instruction and legislation from the British Government on Monday, and after speaking with the British Boxing Board of Control, we have to make an announcement on our upcoming events.

"The key for us is the news from the British Boxing Board of Control of the medical concerns, in terms of the safety for our fighters.

"Will doctors be allowed and able to work on those events? Will we have access and availability to take fighters to the hospital or to get medical attention if needed?

"Of course, once that starts coming into play, with fighters' safety absolutely paramount, it becomes a complete non-starter for us."

As well as the fight night at the Doncaster Dome being put back to date to be announced, Matchroom are also postponing their Newcastle show on April 4 until June 27, while the March 28 show at the O2 Arena in London has been cancelled, with fights from that event to be incorporated elsewhere.

As it stands, the Matchroom shows pencilled in for May onwards will go ahead as planned.

"Obviously these are testing times for everybody, " added Hearn. "And our immediate thoughts go to everybody affected by the Covid-19 virus.

"So we ask everybody to follow the guidelines, stay well, stay healthy."
