Benn drops in to deliver boxing masterclass at Far Cotton ABC
Former world champion Nigel Benn, famed for his tough brawling style and furious battles with Chris Eubank Sr, recently popped in for a masterclass at Far Cotton ABC.
Benn has been to Far Cotton ABC before, visiting head coach John Daly.

This time, the masterclass was a joint-venture with James Wright, coach from ‘Transformation for life’ and Colin Toal, coach at Far Cotton’s Women’s Boxing Northampton.
After an open Q&A, with many questions about the long-standing rivalry with the Eubanks, now put to bed by son Conor, Benn showed off his go-forward aggressive style on the pads, with ex-pro cruiserweight from Wolverhampton, Matt Sen.
Benn and Sen teamed up to take the group through a session.
The group were warmed up by Daly, Dani from WBN and ex-military man 'Wardy'.
Each member of the group had the opportunity to do a gruelling two-minute round of boxing, with Benn on the pads.
The guest of honour then topped it off by signing gloves, t-shirts, photos and even a WBN member's 50th birthday card!
Many of the attendees were not even born, or were very young children when Benn was at his peak, but they all soon appreciated his contribution to boxing, and the legacy he created.
