Thunder eventually ran out 87-58 winners, with their scoring led by Ollie Thomas, who amassed 24 points.

Hide AdTHUNDER suffered a final quarter blow-out as they were beaten by Oxford Brookes University in National League Division Three South Conference.
In the disappointing defeat, Jacob Holt top scored for Thunder with 16 points, with good support coming from Devon Adams and Richard Higgins.

Going into the final period of this Under 16 Boys Midlands Development League contest, Thunder and Riders were all tied at 53-53.
But the Leicester side pulled away to earn a fine comeback win.

Northants Lightning 23 Nottingham Wildcats 108
Playing without key players once again, Lightning suffered another heavy defeat in the Under 16 Girls Premier Division North.
Through no fault of their own, Lightning were forced to play with just seven players and credit should be given to those girls for battling to the end, especially Hannah Davey, who scored 10 of her team’s 23 points.

After making such an excellent start to 2016, Thunder slipped to another Under 14 Boys Midlands Development League defeat last Saturday.

Hide AdAshley Kitchen had four three-pointers in his 18-point haul for Thunder, while Oliver Dominique battled hard for his 10 points and Connor White, Hashim Khan and Cameron Leighton all worked tirelessly for their team.
Northants Lightning 50 Southend Swifts 114
Southend Swifts boast one of the top girls programmes in the country and the Lightning got a first-hand view of that strength last Saturday when they were beaten by 64 points by the Essex team.
In the Under 14 Girls East Midlands Development League defeat, Ony Onwumechili and Katie Dinnell both scored 17 personal points and six other players were able to get on the scoresheet.

Despite losing by 32 points to an older and bigger Titans team, Thunder could take a lot of positives away from this Northants Hoopsterz Under 19 Central Venue League game.

Hide AdAaron Mutari, who was forced into ball handling duties, really stepped up, setting up his team’s half-court offence.
Ainsley Reynolds and Zinzan Oostenhuizen were able to create scoring opportunities.
