What to expect in sixth form
Students will enjoy a mixture of timetabled lessons, independent study time, enrichment and voluntary work – setting them up for the next stage of their education or careers.
They will enjoy state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories and specialist teaching facilities. Each student has a dedicated locker where they can charge and store portable devices, such as laptops. There are dedicated music and drama studios, science and technology and visual arts rooms.
Throughout their two years in sixth form, students will be offered the chance to participate in a variety of educational trips, taking their experiences and learning beyond the classroom. Previous trips have included visits to Uganda, Poland, Germany, Paris and more.
We hope that with the support of our curriculum, teaching and staff, students can feel ready and prepared as they move into a world beyond school, where they aspire to be ambitious, confident and successful, making the most of the opportunities presented to them, and even more importantly having the determination to create their own.
