Amazon has slashed the price of Jackery’s latest Explorer 1000 v2 power station to under £500, just in time for spring adventures
We've found a way of getting a top-spec portable power station for £450 less than it's being sold by the manufacturer.
It's the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, the latest version of one of Jackery's best-selling off-grid solar generators.
Jackery has it listed on its website for £899, but Amazon is selling it for £449 at the moment. That's the same price you'd pay on Jackery's website if you signed up to be a member, but you don't need a membership to buy it from Amazon.

It means you can get a power station with enough output to support up to three days of outdoor adventures for less than £500, just in time for the spring season to arrive.
Launched in 2024, the Explorer 1000 v2 brought a new design to the popular Explorer series, with a retractable handle, more modern battery chemistry, and greater battery capacity.
It also charges up more quickly, can accept more solar power from optional solar panels, and it has a higher AC output for its two three-pin sockets.
