I'm hoping to achieve a whiter smile with MySweetSmile - one thing has surprised me so far (aff)

I’ve been wanting a whiter smile for a few years, so a few weeks ago I decided to give the MySweetSmile Pro Teeth Whitening Kit a go.

I chose the MySweetSmile Pro Teeth Whitening Kit, which includes both whitening powder and strips because it promises to deliver professional-level whitening results at home - and crucially without the associated high price tag.

I also found the process of the MySweetSmile Pro Teeth Whitening Kit extremely appealing. I’ll be honest, I want whiter teeth but I don’t want to drastically change my routine or have to spend a long time with yet another step to add to my beauty routine.

But, with this all you have to do is swap your usual toothpaste for the teeth whitening powder (available in both mint flavour and strawberry flavour) and brush your teeth for the standard two minutes. You can brush again with your normal toothpaste afterwards, but you don’t have to. I found the flavour of the powder pleasant, and my teeth felt clean afterwards, so I didn’t feel the need to do so.

The second thing you do is apply the teeth whitening strips on your top and bottom teeth and wait for 30 minutes. That’s it. Done. While I waited the half an hour for the strips to do their thing I carried on my day as normal. I applied them first thing in the morning and by the time I was showered, dressed and ready for the day the time had passed without me giving them a second thought.

The thing that surprised me the most, in fact, was how I was almost able to forget I had the strips in. I wasn’t expecting them to feel uncomfortable, but I was expecting to be able to feel them. I thought perhaps I might not be able to talk as easily, for example, while they were in in case this made them move - and I honestly thought they’d just feel a bit weird.

At first, I admit they did, but only for the first five minutes or so - and only on the first application. After that, my mouth felt quite normal and I discovered I could indeed talk with no issue. They moulded perfectly to my teeth and didn’t move at all.

If this routine is carried out daily, MySweetSmile say you can get a complete smile reset in just a few weeks. But results will vary from person-to-person so do be patient while you are using it.

I have been using now for a couple of weeks, and although I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference yet I can say that I do feel like my smile is brighter immediately after using the teeth whitening strips in particular. I’m hoping that, with more consistent and long-term use, the brighter effect lasts even longer - and in conjunction with the teeth whitening powder my teeth also get noticeably whiter. I will indeed just have to be patient.
