Shoppers can snap up a half-price heated blanket as Amazon clears winter stock before spring arrives

Winter might be reaching its final stages, but the cold weather isn't done with us just yet, and it's a great time of year to stock up on some cold-weather luxuries, as brands look to clear out their stocks ahead of spring.

Take this deal on a heated blanket by Slumberdown, for an example. It sold in huge numbers last month when the price dropped by more than half, and the deal is back to round off February.

Normally priced at £60, Amazon is selling it for £26.50, which is a saving of 56% - and the deal lasts until February 20, providing they don't sell out before.

The heated blanket has 10 heat settings, it's designed to be energy efficient, it's hypoallergenic, it comes in three colours, it's machine washable, and even has a two-year warranty.

It might even save you some money on your heating bills, because you could turn the thermostat down a notch and just hide in your heated blanket until your cup of tea runs out.

More than 500 people have bought one already in the past month, according to Amazon, and many of those sales will presumably have been during a previous two-week sale in January.

Amazon Prime members get free delivery on eligible items. Non-Prime customers may pay delivery charges depending on the order.
