A dual-camera design, AI-powered tracking and subscription-free local storage make the Aosu T2 Pro an intriguing home security option, but the full review reveals whether it truly lives up to the promise.
The Aosu T2 Pro Dual-vision 3K packs in an eye-catching list of features, but unlike some security cameras that promise the world, this one largely delivers. With its twin-camera setup combining a fixed wide-angle lens and a motorised pan, tilt and zoom camera, it aims to solve one of the biggest frustrations in home security: seeing the whole scene without sacrificing detail. If you're looking at the Aosu T2 Pro Dual-vision 3K, it's certainly one worth considering.
That dual-camera approach is what really sets this home security camera apart. The fixed lens keeps watch over your property while the PTZ camera locks onto movement, tracking people or vehicles as they move through the scene. In day-to-day use, it feels particularly well suited to driveways, gardens and front paths where activity doesn't always stay neatly in frame. The AI tracking is impressively effective without becoming overly complicated to use.
The companion app also deserves credit. Setup is quick, controls are intuitive, and being able to tap the wide-angle view to direct the second camera feels genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. Features like colour night vision, two-way talk, built-in lights and sirens all add to the package, while the latest price on the Aosu T2 Pro becomes even more appealing thanks to the lack of subscription fees. Recordings are stored locally on a microSD card, avoiding the ongoing costs that many rivals impose.
Battery life is helped along by the included solar panel, making this a practical option if you don't want to worry about regular charging. At its discounted price it's particularly strong value, although at full RRP there are competitors worth considering.
The full review looks in much more detail at image quality, AI performance, battery life, installation and how it compares with rival cameras before reaching its final verdict.
