Consumers wanting to get their hands on a new PS5 have been put on red alert as UK retailers are predicted to restock shelves of the in-demand console.

Hide AdGamers continue to scour the internet for retailers with the latest edition of the Sony PlayStation series months after the console's UK release.
Argos, GAME, Amazon and Currys are all expected to make new stocks available in early March, according to online tipsters.
Stock has flown off the shelves recently within minutes of becoming available - but hope remains for thousands of gamers still without a PS5.

Hide AdIt appears there have been technical issues behind the rollout of the PS5.
In an interview with Ars Technica, Sony's chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki said: "It is difficult for us to increase production of the PS5 amid the shortage of semiconductors and other components.
"We have not been able to fully meet the high level of demand from customers. We continue to do everything in our power to ship as many units as possible to customers who are waiting for a PS5."

Hide AdUK retailers have remained tightlipped over when and where fresh stock of the PS5 will be made available, as demand has outstripped supply.
GAME and Smyth's recently saw a surge in customer traffic to their websites after word spread stocks had been replenished.
Such is demand, retailers are selling out again within minutes leaving many gamers in the wilderness without the latest PlayStation console.

Hide AdAnonymous Twitter account @PS5StockAlertUK has been the source of several restock tips in recent months and been a go-to for hundreds of gamers.
The account expects there to be more stock of the PS5 console available in the week of 1 March, making it known to their followers.
Tipster @PS5StockAlertUK posted on Twitter: "What we (Stock Checker) know so far: GAME either 2nd or 3rd March (8-10am); Argos either 2nd or 3rd March (after 1am); Amazon not guaranteed but expected 2nd March (8-10am); Curry’s not guaranteed but expected 2nd March (6-8am).”
