When the Birds of Prey x Fortnite crossover starts, and everything else in the 11.5 update
Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2 rolls on, and while Season 2 won't be here for a little while longer (20 February at the earliest), Epic Games are still adding plenty of challenges to the popular Battle Royale.
They need to; this season of Fortnite has been the longest in the game's history (they usually run for 10 weeks - this one has topped 16 already), and player interest is starting to wane.

Here's everything you need to know:
What is Love and War?
Love and War is this year's Valentine's Day event in Fortnite, "the perfect time to party up with that special squadmate" say Epic.
The event brings a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) to the game, in which you team up to "become the best" or "take down your friends and flex your skills."
Teams of six players take part in a game that lasts a maximum of seven rounds - the first team to win four rounds achieves victory.Achieve total victory by winning 4 rounds.

So what can we expect?

What else is new?
The biggest addition that v11.5 of the game brings to Fortnite might not seem obvious at first, but some changes to the game's code mean the game could be going in an exciting new direction in the future.
Fortnite will be moving to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics system, a new method of rendering physics and destruction in-game.
"The goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite," said Epic, acknowledging that "we’ll be closely monitoring your feedback from the in-game Feedback tool for any issues you may be experiencing. "

What that essentially means is that Fortnite will be getting more realistic destruction in physics in the near future, but it should play as near enough the same game.
There are also a number of bug fixes and tweaks included in the update.
