You can browse through the available positions on the Indeed website, and RSVP for an interview. On the website, you’ll see a long list of roles available, which are spread out around the UK, but you can search by city to see just what’s available near you.

Indeed explains that one of the benefits of the online event is that it reduces hiring time for an average of six weeks, to just a few days - and in some cases, even on the spot offers.

The event will take place on Tuesday 10 November and Wednesday 11 November, next week.

Managing director at Indeed, Bill Richards, said: “We know these are anxious times and with millions of people facing unemployment, many will be windowing what to do next.

The job site states that more than a dozen companies are taking part in the free event, including names such as Morrisons, Lidl, DHL, Yodel, Bupa Care Homes, Elysium Healthcare and Amazon.

There are a number of different roles available, such as warehouse operatives, care assistants, courier drivers and support workers to name a few.

How to get an interview

Begin by browsing through the available roles in your specified location on the Indeed event page and when you see one you want to interview for, you should see a blue button that says: “RSVP for an interview”.

You’ll be taken to a new page which gives you more information about the role. It will also outline if you need to bring anything specific to your interview, such as a CV or passport, so make sure you check what you need to bring with you.

Some companies will also have specific dress codes as well, so make sure you’re dressed appropriately.

If you scroll down, you’ll be able to see what time slots are available, and how many spots are left in that specific time slot as well.

Simply select your preferred time slot, enter your details and and click “RSVP to event” at the bottom of the page.

After you RSVP, you’ll be emailed a link which will lead you directly to the video interview lobby.

Before the interview takes place, Indeed recommends: “Try to find a quiet place with good lighting and a stable internet connection.”
