It comes on the back of their debut album release, Lie Out loud and new single, 5000 Miles.

Lie Out Loud has been a long time coming for the Uxbridge four piece, and follows a glorious ascent since Bloxx exploded onto the scene four years ago with their definitive brand of confessional, relatable indie pop.

The album features the huge singles Go Out With You, Coming Up Short, Thinking About Yourself, Off My Mind and more, alongside a wealth of new material that seamlessly showcases the band’s journey so far, which has seen them play huge shows, build an army of fans and amass over 30 million Spotify plays.

Speaking about the album, front woman Fee Booth said: “Our Debut Record Lie Out Loud well, how can I put it? It’s a journey from 2016 to 2020 for us as a band.

“It’s a relatable voice for anyone who’s ever struggled with themselves or with relationships or with anything. We write with the intent to be relatable. It’s a voice for everyone.

“The album is sonically interesting and diverse and I think it’s my favourite thing we’ve ever done.”

New music

To coincide with the album release, Bloxx have unveiled new single 5000 Miles, an unconventional love song that perfectly encapsulates the feelings of love, lust and growing up in a British satellite town that flows through the record.

Speaking about 5000 Miles, Fee said the new single was a heir to love and lust and added: “I wrote lyrics to 5000 Miles 35,000 ft in the air, on a flight from New York where I had just met my girlfriend for the first time. I was drinking red wine and crying.”
