Letter: We need new blood to improve Northampton!

So now it’s official...Northampton is number six on the list of the unhealthiest towns in the country.

Perhaps now our insular town and county councillors will acknowledge their repeated failures to properly look after and administer our county town.

For years many of the residents of the town and county have spoken out about the often strange decisions made by those who think that they know best how to decide our town’s future, but all to no avail.

I hope that they are suitably embarrassed by this independent survey. Perhaps they should all step aside and let some new blood in.
