Westlife star to meet Northampton woman with terminal cancer after online campaign
Royal Mail worker Emma Clayson was given the tragic news that her skin cancer has spread on October last year.
The 23-year-old, of Great Billing, was given three months to live by doctors and since then her condition has become gradually worse to the extent her family say she is now “bedridden” and only has a “few weeks left with us.”

Miss Clayson’s family asked the Irish star to meet with her before the show by launching an appeal to him on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #emmaswish4shane.
In an emotional post her sister Becky Clayson, wrote: “For people that don’t know my sister Emma, who is in her late teens, is terminally ill with cancer and has got a matter of weeks left with us.
“Ems has concert tickets to see Shane Filan (member of boyband Westlife) at Royal and Derngate on Sat 5th march.

“All she wants is to meet him to say hello and have a picture with him as her last wish.
The post was shared more than 4,000 times in less than a day and several people have tweeted Mr Filan directly in a bid to make the wish come true.
Ms Clayson announced this afternoon that she had been in touch with Mr Filan’s manager and “arrangements were being made” for him to meet Emma.
