The trophy, which is in the East Midlands for five days as part of the Trophy Tour, visited Moulton College for a morning that included rugby training sessions and matches with Long Buckby Rugby Club.

Cheryl Charter, winner of a RWC 2015 Official Replica Match Ball and attendee of the event, said: “It was great to receive a call to say that I had won the competition. It’s a really good event and as a supporter of the Saints, we’re really hoping that England win so we shall be watching all of their matches too.”

“At Moulton we are delighted to be the Team Base for Uruguay and seeing the cup has really brought home to us how exciting it is to be involved in this wonderful sporting event.”

The Trophy Tour, which launched on June 10 marking exactly 100 days-to-go to the opening match, will now travel to East Anglia to take part in a number of events and activities to help give fans the unique opportunity to build unforgettable memories as part of their own Rugby World Cup 2015 story.
