Sections of the Sol Central building's roof in Northampton town centre have been blown off by high winds this morning.

Storm Ciara has hit the country and is causing winds of up to 60mph or more in some parts of Northamptonshire.

In Northampton town centre, panels are being blown off the Sol Central building in Marefair.

A video showing the damage was posted on Twitter at 9.42am today (February 9) by Northampton resident @Ryan_Loebell.
