VIDEO: Is this Northampton's most pothole-infested road?

Residents of a Northampton street believe they may be living in the town's most pothole infested road.

Some people from Wheatfield Gardens, in Abington, claim it has not been resurfaced in the 50 years they have lived there.

As a result, neighbours have produced a walkaround video showing hundreds of craters covering the surface from end to end.

Daniel Patching said: “For years they have been fighting the council to get the road resurfaced, a resident had a nasty fall last year and is still suffering now due to tripping in one of the hundred craters.

“Complaint after complaint has been placed with the council to which an inspector comes out they fill one or two holes then three weeks later it crumbles and the fix has broken.

“It may be a little street with 30 houses but it deserves to be looked after and residents not have to worry their child is going to fall and hurt themselves or that they may even damage their car.”
