VIDEO: Air ambulance called out after girl falls off lamppost in Northampton

An air ambulance landed on the playground of the Bellinge campus of Ecton Brook Primary school at 7pm last night.
The girl, who is believed to have suffered a broken leg, was taken to hospital.

Hide AdThe incident happened outside the school and after school hours but the girl is believed to be a pupil at Ecton Brook Primary School.
Debbie Archer, one of the joint headteachers of Ecton Brook, said: “The incident happened after school.
“A girl climbed a lamppost outside the school in the Bellinge estate. The helicopter landed on the school playground as that was the nearest landing point.
“The girl is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
