Update: Fire crews tackle Daventry lorry blaze
Fire crews tackled a lorry fire last night (Tuesday) on Daventry’s Heartlands industrial estate.
Crews were called shortly before 7.30pm to reports of a lorry on fire in Nasmyth Road. The fire, thought to be caused by an electrical fault, had also spread to a nearby trailer.
It took two fire crews equipped with two hoses and breathing apparatus over an hour to tackle the blaze. No one was hurt in the incident.
