Tyre thieves take £78k of goods from lorry parked in Northamptonshire

Thieves slashed a hole in the side of a parked lorry in Northamptonshire before stealing £78,000 worth of of tyres.

The grey Mercedes lorry was parked in the northbound service area of the M1 Watford Gap motorway services between junction 16 and 17.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

Sometime between 7pm on Wednesday 22 and 2am on Thursday, March 23, two holes were cut in the curtain side of the lorry and around £78,000 worth of tyres were stolen.
