Travellers pitch up on Racecourse in Northampton
A group of travellers have pitched up on an area of The Racecourse in Northampton.
The seven caravans and nine vehicles were spotted on the Northampton park this morning (Friday)
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “The Countywide Traveller Unit has been made aware of an unauthorised encampment on Northampton Racecourse comprised of seven caravans and nine vehicles.
“The legal process to remove the encampment has now started.”
