A vehicle fire is causing four miles of congestion on the M1 heading past Northampton on Friday afternoon (May 20).
National Highways said at around 1.45pm that emergency services are at the scene, on the southbound side between junction 15A and junction 15.
A spokesperson warned there were delays of 30 minutes with queues set to continue well into the afternoon.
