Tree felling could close busy stretch of road in Northampton

The county council is seeking to close the road between Acre Lane and Kingsmead, near The Windmill pub.

The restriction would be required for safety reasons during tree felling work along the route.

Work is likely to take place between February 22 and March 5 and closures might only be needed while the work is in progress.

Diversions would be in place as necessary, along Brampton Lane and the A508 Harborough Road.
