Spider gets a bird's eye view of Northamptonshire's first lockdown Saturday
It might be the week AFTER Halloween, but this creepy-crawley with a head for heights still managed to give Highways England camera operators a fright.
They spied a creature invading one of the cameras used to keep an eye on the M1 in Northamptonshire on Saturday afternoon.

Hide AdEagle-eyed traffic watchers got a close up view of the eight-legged invader on the web — obviously!
With traffic lighter than normal during lockdown, had plenty of time hanging out on the lens high above the northbound carriageway between Junction 16 and Junction 17.
As if we don't have enough trouble with bugs at the moment ...
Quiet roads did not mean a quiet day for the county's traffic cops, though.

Hide AdBy lunchtime, they had seized NINE vehicles for a variety of offences as part of the county Force's Operation Journey safety campaign.
A spokesman for the Safer Roads Team said: "One driver tried stating he had licence, however further enquiries found that he has a non-EU licence and has been in the UK longer than the permitted year to drive!
"Another van got our attention as it was driving with a flat tyre. On checking the vehicle, the driver wasn't insured — and his mate in another van trying to help didn't have a valid licence.
