Flood alerts remains in force for the River Tove and Great Ouse in South Northamptonshire.
Environment Agency spokesman said last night: "River levels remain high and are still rising at the Cappenham river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend.
"Consequently, flooding of low lying roads and farmland is possible on the Tove from Towcester to Cosgrove, including Silverstone Brook and also on the Great Ouse from Brackley to Haversham, including Padbury Brook. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours and we are closely monitoring the situation."
