New 30mph speed limit proposed for stretch of road in Northamptonshire village

West Northamptonshire Council is proposing to introduce a new 30mph speed limit on part of a road in a Northamptonshire village.

The proposed order has been put forward under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and would affect a section of the C27 Heyford Road in Bugbrooke near Church Lane.

Under the plans, the new speed restriction would apply in both directions from a point 14 metres north of the junction with Church Lane and continue northwards for a distance of 85 metres.

The council says documents relating to the proposal, including detailed maps and the reasons behind the scheme, are available to view online through its traffic regulation orders page.

Representations must be made in writing and should quote reference number P2156.
