A man in his 20s was killed in a horrific three-car collision in Northampton late on Thursday night.
Police also confirmed a woman passenger and another driver were both taken to the major trauma unit at University Coventry Hospital with serious injuries following the head-on smash on Kettering Road.
The dead driver was at the wheel of a blue Ford Fiesta driving towards Parklands between 10pm and 10.15pm last night when it was involved in a collision and then deflected into the path of an oncoming Chevrolet Aveo.

"Sadly, the driver of the Fiesta – a man in his 20s – died at the scene.
"His female passenger and the driver of the Chevrolet – a man in his 50s – both sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
