The M1 entry slip is blocked southbound at Junction 15 near Northampton following an accident on Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported just after 7.30am and Highways England are warning it could take until after 9pm to clear.

Queues quickly started to build on the M1 southbound approaching the Northampton turn off and on the A45 as drivers struggled to join the motorway.
