Lorry crash closes part of junction on major Northampton route

A collision involving a lorry closed a major junction on the A45 in Northampton this morning (Thursday May 7).

Highways England reported the eastbound entry slip road was closed at Brackmills Industrial Estate following the incident at just after 8.30am.

The closure affected rush hour traffic heading from Brackmils towards Weston Favell and Wellingborough on the A45.

Vehicles were being diverted to the Queen Eleanor roundabout and back towards Brackmills while the closure was in place.
