Lane remains closed on A45 in Northampton after one-vehicle crash

A lane remains closed on the A45 in Northampton after an incident this morning (December 10).

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway between Riverside and Great Billing Way at around 9.50am.

The lane closed at around 10.45am and remains closed.

A Ford Fiesta was involved in the incident, but no major injuries were sustained.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "This was called in at 9.50am. A lane closed at 10.45am is still closed.

"The collision involved a green Ford Fiesta but there aren’t any major injuries.

"One woman was driven to hospital by a family member."
