Traffic agencies reporting half-hour delays heading north from junction 14

A four-vehicle pile-up is blocking two lanes on the M1 between Milton Keynes and Northampton on Monday morning.

The crash, just before 8am, followed reports of a broken down vehicle stranded in the middle lane of the northbound carriageway between junction 14 and junction 15.

Highways England and AA Travel are both reporting delays of more than 30 minutes for traffic heading north from Newport Pagnell Services.

Traffic is also slow on the southbound side from Northampton as rubber-neckers slow down near the scene.
