Drivers are being warned of delays on the A45 around Northampton after an accident

The AA reported at 4.45pm that the road was partially blocked after an accident.

"Partially blocked and slow traffic due to accident on A45 Nene Valley Way Eastbound around A428 Bedford Road (Barnes Meadow Interchange)," the AA added.

There are no details as to the nature of the accident.
