Derailed train brings warning of delays and cancellations at Northampton
Rail passengers heading to and from Northampton are being warned to check their journeys before travelling following a train derailment in Coventry in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Operator London Northwestern Railway is advising passengers planning to catch a train to or from Northampton or Long Buckby not to travel before midday as cancellations are likely but warns says disruption could last all day.

Hide AdPassengers are advised to avoid travel before noon and to check for the latest information at the National Rail website.
A spokesman for LNR said "A derailment within the depot near Coventry is resulting in disruption to trains at the station.
"Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or diverted until approximately 12noon.
"We have arranged rail replacement transport where possible and ticket acceptance with other train operators.
