Crash blocking one lane on M1 between Northampton and Milton Keynes

Drivers are being warned to expect severe delays on the M1 during Thursday morning's rush hour.

A crash is blocking one lane southbound between Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

Highways England's sensors showed tailbacks stretching for four miles between Junction 15 and Junction 14 at 7am.

The agency warned it could take until 8.45am for traffic to return to normal.
