Northamptonshire Police were called to a single-vehicle collision at around 9am on Tuesday July 21 at the junction of the A428 Bedford Road and the entrance to the Waterside campus.
The crash involved a West Northamptonshire Council van which collided with one of the traffic light poles on University Drive, according to police.
A spokesperson said: “We contacted the Street Doctor to make them aware and handed it over to them.”
West Northants Council were contacted for comment on Tuesday morning.
