Traffic queuing for SIX miles on M1 due to collision between Northampton and Milton Keynes

Travel time is around 30 minutes.

All lanes have been reopened following an earlier collision on the motorway northbound from Milton Keynes to Northampton

One lane had to be closed as the collision was dealt with, causing six miles of traffic to build up on the major motorway.

Highways England reports that there are currently delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic.

Northamptonshire Police have been contacted for comment.
