A teenager whose electric scooter crashed into a parked car sustained no major injuries during the incident.

The 17-year-old was riding the electric scooter when the incident happened in Ryeland Road, Duston at around 4.50pm on Saturday (May 16).

An off duty paramedic treated the boy and police have confirmed he has ‘no lasting injuries’.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: “An electric scooter that went into a parked car in Ryeland Road at about 4.50pm on May 16.

“A 17-year-old boy received treatment from an off-duty paramedic at the scene but thankfully has no lasting injuries.”
