Severe crash on M1 near Northampton

Queuing traffic is causing delays for commuters on the M1 this morning following a serious accident.

The crash happened on the southbound M1 between junction 15a and 15 near the roadworks.

Congestion is reported to be tailing back as far as Watford Gap services.
