A company producing sandwiches, wraps and sandwich fillers has recalled several products due to a risk to customers of food poisoning.

As a precautionary measure, Easy Eats UK Ltd is recalling various Snacksters, Snax on the Go and Best In Chicken Tikka products due to the possible presence of salmonella in the tikka powder ingredient used to manufacture these products.

Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning. People affected by salmonellosis - the infection caused by salmonella - can go on to develop diarrhea, fever, vomiting, and abdominal cramps, with dehydration a symptom that can leave sufferers hospitalised.

The following products are being recalled:

Members of the public who have bought any of the affected products are advised not to consume them. Instead, products should be returned to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
