Among the biggest proposals is application 2024/2775/MAF for the construction of 54 homes on land east of The Green in Hardingstone.

The major scheme includes 35 market homes ranging from one to five bedrooms, alongside 19 affordable properties with one, two and three-bedroom layouts. The plans also include garages and car ports, a new access road, parking, landscaping, drainage works and a Local Area of Play (LAP).

Another major Northampton application, reference 2026/1830/MAF, seeks permission to build 14 flats on land between the Queens Building on Barrack Road and No.5 Leicester Parade.

Elsewhere in Northampton, plans have been submitted to convert homes into houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). A further proposal, application 2026/1936/FULL, involves converting properties at 108 St Georges Avenue and 17 Homestead Way into six flats, alongside the conversion of a garage and existing flat into a dwellinghouse.

Other Northampton applications include plans for the installation of 2.4-metre wrought iron fencing and gates at Castle Hill United Reformed Church on Doddridge Street under applications 2026/1139/FULL and 2026/1141/LBC.

Across the wider county, proposals include replacement windows at Blakesley Endowed CE Primary School, a detached garage block at the former infants school in Silverstone, and the installation of defibrillator and bleed kit cabinets outside the Nationwide branch at Sponne House Shopping Centre in Towcester.
